Job Description

Summary of key responsibilities:

Opening position 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. Arrive on time to complete opening procedures.

Greet customers, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte and tea drinks.

Maintain working area in a neat and sanitary manner with periodic cleaning throughout the store.

Record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register and follow all cash handling procedures.

Prep ingredients for house baked goods

Sell food items - including chocolates, confections and pastries.

Opportunities to be cross-trained in chocolate and confection production.

Possibility of evening work for special events at the store.

Physical Requirements (must meet all):

Constant standing/walking up to 8 hours

Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps

Constant computer/POS Register and bar equipment usage

Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine

Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around area

Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication

Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoke

Occasional Distinguishing, with a degree of accuracy, differences or similarities in intensity or quality of flavors and/or odors

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 /hour
