We want the very best talent to help lead something big.ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus of this Corporate Chef position will be supporting key Food Management Companies (FMCs) as a part of the overall Convenience& Foodservice (C) strategy. This role will work closely with the Senior Corporate Chef in supporting these key C customers. Duties may include recipe development, field training, customer visits as well as any other duties in support of the General Mills culinary team. Travel:15-25% KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Customer responsibilities - This position will support high profile C FMC customers from a corporate and field perspective. Duties may include participating in sales presentations, developing recipes, concepts and growth driving ideas based on the customer need, designing and delivering training classes to prioritized customers and general customer support needs. Training responsibilities Working with key C customers to develop and implement training programs in support of customer and C strategies. Recipes - Create recipes utilizing Convenience and Foodservice products that are channel appropriate for cost and skill level. Support best practices in recipe writing. General Culinary team support - Lead for Culinary Center management; Attend cross functional meetings as directed and participate on cross functional project teams as directed. Support various field sales activities with culinary team. Monitor foodservice industry trends, participate in trends newsletter development and keep culinary group informed with regular communication Qualifications Bachelors degree 8 years experience in a combination of restaurant, hotel, food management company operations Strong knowledge of all types of foodservice operations Strong knowledge of food, flavor and recipe development Understanding of GMI products and most national competitors Good customer relations and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong business acumen Great listening skills and communication skills Executive presencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of experience (acombination of restaurant, hotel, food management company operations) ACFA SUCCESSFULL APPLICANT WILL: Employ an innovative mindset and can deliver breakthrough ideas Demonstrate organizational savvy and is able to work effectively cross-functionally Quickly establish trust with both internal and external business partners Build strong relationships in General Mills global network Apply possibility thinking to create quality ideas and solutions Exhibit culinary horsepower; shows intellectual humility, curiosity and open mindedness#cb
