Our client is a recently launched & entrepreneurial US Business unit of a $1bn+ high growth, innovative and internationally well-known food company that has an exciting and expanding range of well-received & market-leading brands across multiple categories.
They are looking for a visionary and yet hands-on Sales leader to run their US business. Someone who can set a vision, develop a go-to-market strategy & business plan, grow a team and then deliver their plan to increase retail sales, distribution and profit.
Reporting into the global sales leadership team this role will lead and sustainably deliver the growth agenda for the US retail business. Key responsibilities in this high-profile and broad role will include:
Suitable candidates will ideally have 10+ years of progressive national sales experience within the food industry. You will be able to lead from the front and have a demonstratable track record of delivering results; be able to manage relationships with high profile retail accounts and capable of launching and growing new brands and products into the US market. Prior experience of working with a European Parent company would be advantageous. You will also be a passionate self-starter and looking for a role where you can set the pace and really leave your own mark in an informal, agile entrepreneurial environment.
This role is home-based and you will need to travel domestically & internationally for meetings and to attend trade shows and networking events.
