Job Description

As Restaurant Supervisor, youll manage food and beverage operations to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a memorable guest experience. You'll ensure compliance with all health, safety, or other requirements. The Restaurant Supervisor must have a great work ethic, a proven track record, and an overall personal drive to help grow, promote, and raise the overall business of all outlets.Your day-to-dayPeople Plays a vital role in assisting restaurant staff to ensure all side work is done and guest satisfaction. This is a hands on, working, management position. Help develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and help create performance and development goals for colleagues Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect. Includes on the job training and all IHG standards of training. Recommend or initiate any HR elated actions where needed. Be the first step for any employee issues.Financial Help execute the hotels F annual budget and help set realist departmental goals Working with the sales and banquet team to identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value Make sure credit and financial transactions are handled securely Insure at the end of an employees shift that restaurant banks and paper work are counted correctly and give out due backs to the employees. Daily logs, deposits, cash managementGuest Experience Make sure all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned Make sure all food and beverage facilities including banquet/convention spaces are clean and properly stocked to anticipated business volume. Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Help guests with their requests and complaints - making sure you maintain a high level of guest/client satisfaction Helping F pass health inspections Maintain our brand standardsResponsible Business Manage hotel food and beverage marketing program and participate in and maintain system-wide food and beverage marketing program and promotions Make sure food and drinks are secure and stored safely - always keep stock replenished to minimize waste Other ad-hoc duties - unexpected moments when we must pull together to get a task doneAccountabilitiesSupervising restaurant staff, kitchen (when the kitchen managers are not in) and may include banquet facilities that cater to 500 people or less. May oversee one or more subordinate managers or supervisors.What we need from you Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management 1 years related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Great organizational and leadership skills Bachelors degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred Must speak local language Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card is preferred Flexible Schedule (Mornings, nights, weekends, holidays) is required. Must be reliable.
