Job Description The Catering Sales Coordinator will develop the existing business and solicit new catering business through catering sales marketing. The sales manager solicits new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques. Assist and guide clients to plan all aspects of each catering event. Create proposals and manage catering sales cycle. Communicate directly with the Director of Catering regarding all the catering events. Develop business relationships in a way that ensures future business will be with our catering company. Team Responsibilities Planning and assigning events for catering staff and communicating with Catering Captains about expectations of assigned events. Maintain aspects of catering event tracking to assist payroll procedures. Sales Responsibilities Pursuing old, current, and new clients through a variety of styles of communication. Assess client needs, categorize events according to guidelines, and create proposals. Book events and communicate bookings to Director of Catering Ensure all billing and ageing are up to date. Manage and track all client correspondence, through phone and email communication. Organize and produce sales presentations, tastings, client meetings, on-site walk-throughs. Expand client base through B2B marketing and networking. Maintain relationships with venues. Create catering orders, maintain details as we communicate with clients, and record details to create measurable data in our CRM platform.
