The successful Executive Chef will coordinate and control total function of all food outlets pertaining to food production and quality assurance. Must be hands on at all times, and involved in food production.

  • The candidate selected will be fully responsible for food production, scheduling, food and labor costs and sanitation.
  • Recruit, educate, train, manage, and retain great associates
  • Execute menu vision ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines while keeping client values in mind.
  • Responsible for overall management of the kitchen, including supervising activities of cooks, coordinate and actively participate in event operations and monitor food and labor costs.
  • Plan menus, maintaining financial responsibility for the menu mix.
  • Oversee inventory and coordinates product ordering and receiving within corporate specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen to comply with state and local health department regulations.
  • Five years Culinary management experience. Previous experience in a management role is preferred including experience in large catering or a high-volume production environment. Experience in a sporting venue preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is extremely reliable, detail-oriented, and proficient with all basic cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of high volume foodservice operations including casual buffets, and catering.
  • Strong organizational, communication and PC skills, including spreadsheets.
  • A commitment to excellence in guest service is essential.
  • Experience in multi-unit operations is a plus.
  • Familiar with ordering and inventory procedures and health and sanitation guidelines.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and willing to acquire new skills
  • ServSafe Certification required.
  • ACF Certification preferred.
  • Candidate is required to take a culinary practical.
