The Corporate Safety Director is a manager-level position that is responsible for planning, directing and ensuring implementation of the organizations safety program (facilities and fleet) to achieve a safe, healthy and accident free work environment. This individual will achieve the statement above by performing the essential duties and responsibilities personally and or through the work of subordinate corporate safety coordinators, ergonomic coordinator and facility safety coordinators. This position requires extensive planning and preparation for next day and future activities.
Flexible work shifts required with the possibility of required response at any time, day or night to investigate severe employee accidents, vehicle accidents and or environmental spills.
