About this Job

The Catering Sales Manager role is a sales based position that targets and coordinates corporate catering sales efforts. The primary responsibility of a catering sales manager is to further develop existing business and solicit new catering business through catering lead generation and catering sales marketing. The sales manager solicits new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques.


What you will do:

· Generate new business and meet financial quotas

· Develop a strategic business plan to direct the development of new business opportunities

· Prepares proposals, presentations and prospect communication as required

· Maintains prospect database of contacts and sales activity

· Being a true representative of the Savory brand

· Work closely with the operations and culinary team


Education and experience:

· Extensive food & beverage sales experience within and deep knowledge of Manhattan Fortune 500 companies, law firms, financial firms, and other professional organizations; as well as event venues

· Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and communicate effectively both with the client and within the organization

· Ability to build and foster relationships with individuals at all levels

· Ability to understand financials and consistently meet financial quotas

· In depth knowledge of corporate food service operations and events

· Minimum of two years experience in food and beverage sales and operations

· Proficient computer skills
