Job Description

This position will be responsible for providing support and analytics to the Latin America & Caribbean Procurement (LAC) team for both Direct Procurement (Food, Beverages and Paper Categories) and Indirect Procurement (CAPEX, Equipment, Furniture). This position will be responsible for managing supply chain and procurement aspects directly with franchisees and suppliers in the region. This role will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Quality Assurance, Global Procurement, Legal and Innovation to support the Burger King, Tim Hortons, and Popeye's Brands. The Sr. Analyst must have the ability to identify opportunities and influence key stakeholders to execute on procurement decisions and supply initiatives that are in the best business interest of our brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sourcing strategies in place for Food, Beverages & Paper/Packaging Categories, as well as Indirect Categories, like Furniture and CAPEX
  • Ensure alignment of Procurement strategies and execution plans with the Business Leaders (Mkt/Ops/SQA/GMs) and Master Franchisees
  • Support negotiations and RFPs with appropriate suppliers
  • Manage relationship with our consolidators (3PLs) in the United Sates
  • Identify and execute key market opportunities to optimize food costs and improve franchisee profitability
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives such as localization of products, approval of contingency suppliers, dual-sourcing, and product development support
  • Manager regional category spend database, and ensure it is up to date and used effectively for RFI, RFP, negotiations & constant identification of opportunities
  • Build procurement awareness and capability in regional and franchise teams
  • Follow-up with legal team on MTCs, MNDAs and ensure escalations to the business when applicable
  • Provide support for New Country market entries to ensure supply and availability of products
  • Ensure Supplier Agreements are in place and monitor key SLAs for suppliers into DCs
  • Provide support in approval and onboarding of new suppliers into the RBI system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement preferred
  • Team player with strong communication and problem solving skills as well as leadership capabilities
  • Develops financial models to analyze cost savings opportunities to determine viability and profitability
  • Strong analytical skills (researching, analyzing and interpreting data)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, time management and interpersonal skills
  • QSR, food processing, retail or CPG experience preferred
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese is required
