Relevant school nutrition program experience, for the purposes of these minimum qualifications, is experience in a child nutrition program that includes the National School Lunch Program, the School Breakfast Program, the Summer Food Service Program and the Child and Adult Care Food Program where knowledge of the USDA's school nutrition program can be demonstrated. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must complete eight (8) hours of food safety training not more than five (5) years prior to their starting date of employment, or within thirty (30) days of their start date or otherwise be separated from the position. Performs functions of other nutritional services positions, as needed within site and at satellite sites for the purpose of ensuring adequate staff coverage within site operations. Prepares a variety of documentation (e.g. sales transactions, inventories, production records, power point presentations, etc) for the purpose of providing written support, compliance, and/or conveying information. Process free/reduced applications for the purpose of complying with federal guidelines for the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs. Work Environment The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
