PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position is responsible for inventory accounting practices, internal reporting, and inventory guidance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Accounting Practices Provide guidance and serve as a resource to the Anchor Ingredients team while seeking ways to improve efficiency and accuracy Reconcile various warehouse locations inventory in a timely manner Provide internal plant management guidance on practices for physical inventory Review and / or reconcile all warehouse and bulk locations physical inventory to general ledger inventory monthly. Set up new products in ProSoft, according to internal service level expectations. Review and post Work Orders (which become formulas) for all locations. Provide guidance and resources, as needed, for plant and internal warehouse physical inventory counts. Follow up to inquiries from internal and external parties surrounding inventory in a timely manner. Prepare transfer and inventory adjustment entries, as needed and in compliance with authority matrix. Monitor inventory transactions. Monitor and research average product costs to ensure accuracy.
