Job Responsibilities: Our Catering Sales and Wedding/Events planner plays a dynamic role in our business by assisting our customers and providing the needed support required. This position requires a motivated, passionate, self-starter and results-oriented professional. He/she will work directly with clients, managing important details, tackling strategic projects, and helping our team work more efficiently and thoughtfully throughout their day. The Event Sales and Wedding Coordinator will work hand in hand with the operations and culinary team to ensure client satisfaction and will be responsible for outside sales for catering orders to both corporate accounts and social accounts to include weddings, upselling rentals of catering equipment and event d├ęcor, and ordering rentals from outside vendors and managing those accounts. You will conduct site visits, attend tastings and conduct in person meetings with clients. This position is also required to attend networking events at least once a month. Qualifications: The Catering Sales and Wedding/Event Planner must have at least 1 year of industry sales experience, preferably in catering The Catering Sales and Wedding/Event Planner must be social media savvy and have advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office proficiency and Point of Sales systems like Sales Force or Caterease The Catering Sales and Wedding/Event Planner must have relationship building skills, strong attention to detail and must be self-driven and motivated to make the sale The Catering Sales and Wedding/Event Planner must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task and handle multiple accounts at one time
