Outside Sales Representative - International Travel Witte Tours seeks an outgoing, dynamic professional to join our Outside Sales team selling custom group tours. Combine your travel experience, prospecting and relational selling skills to share the world with students, choirs, orchestras, bands, churches, and other affinity groups. Find new clients, develop leads and turn proposals into client specific custom tours around the world. Work full-time with benefits from your home office. Compensation is a base salary + unlimited commission potential, and travel opportunities. Regular local travel is expected, as well as some national and international travel. Work independently as well as collaboratively, representing our clients to internal sales and operations staff. JOB DESCRIPTION - Skillfully source and develop new business to build a profitable client base for tours designed and operated by Witte Tours. Service existing clients through regular and enthusiastic communications, while developing future business. Secure contracts through relationship selling, RFP responses, proven sales techniques and customized proposals. Develop a prospect list of potential leadsCollaborate with Marketing personnel to develop creative and cost-effective methods to connect with potential and existing clients frequently. Make sales presentations, qualify leads, deliver proposals, follow upAttend clients Tour Promotional meetings and pre-departure meetingsUpdate potential clients on industry trends, products, destinations, and changes. Participate in the development and execution of sales events and promotional activities. Achieve sales goals through; Promotional functionsParticipate in the creation and execution of promotional campaigns including; direct mail, email blasts, social media, calling campaigns and personal visits. Initiate regular contact with prospects and clients within and outside of the tour planning cycle. Represent Witte at trade shows and other promotional events. Sales effortsProspecting - call, write and visit schools, churches, organizations and other potential group leaders to promote Witte's services. Respond to inquiries from potential clients via phone, website, email and in person visits. Follow up regularly.Maintain strong product, process and industry knowledge. Share knowledge as a resource with clients and colleagues. Utilize CRM database for client contact records and planning. Engagement in Continuing Educational ActivitiesMonitor industry trends via the trade press, destination and supplier literature, and attendance at supplier presentations. Participate in general business and travel industry-specific seminars and workshops. Monitor competitor offerings. Participate in study programs such as the Travel Institute or destination courses originated by government tourism offices. Participate in government tourist office, supplier, and other familiarization travel.
