Job Description

Work in a fast paced environment, on a team of skilled meat cutters fabricating a variety of unique, detailed cuts at the highest quality. Team members will need to have knowledge of all cuts of meat and how to prepare products as prescribed by Old World Provisions and department standards. Meat Trimmers will demonstrate excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and commitment to the success of the team.


  • Cuts and fabricates all varieties of different cuts of meat while operating tools safely
  • Trains other associates as needed
  • Maintains Old World Provisions high standards for product guidelines in sanitation, trimming, and cutting
  • Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance to USDA and QA standards
  • Assists in other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma/GED is a minimum requirement
  • Combination of additional education and experience
  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others and work as part of a team
  • Proficiency with hand tools

Work Environment

  • Willing to perform tasks for extended periods in a refrigerated environment
