The Anchorage Inn in York Beach, ME is hiring for an experienced General Manager. We are looking for a passionate and hands-on leader with a solid hotel operations background. Key Responsibilities Oversee the entire facility operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and food and beverage.Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.Directly supervises employees in all departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations' policies and applicable laws.Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Tour and inspect property on a daily basis and monitor for property cleanliness, safety and security, product quality and exceptional service throughout Recognize service issues and trends.
