Sales Engineer Blentech is looking for a Sales Engineer with a West Coast focus. This is a field sales position, preferably based in Northern California. About the Company:

We are growing rapidly and welcome applicants with direct or indirect experience in sales to apply! As a Sales Engineer you will be leading a cross functional sales-oriented role. You will be able to use your technical aptitude and problem-solving skills and play an important role in our pursuit to provide the best solutions to our customers. Job Responsibilities Include:
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the territoryIdentify and prospect new customer targetsBring in customer projects that are aligned with Blentech's product offering and strategic goalsDrive the sales process, coordinating all aspects of internal activities with the customer, including discovery, product testing, project development, quoting and negotiationCommunicate all sales activities to management through regular updating of CRM systemCooperate with other sales team members when projects and territories overlapUnderstand and gather customer requirementsMap project and customer requirements to solutionsFacilitate communication throughout the entire project cycle with our internal teamsMeet sales goals using negotiation and closing skillsTravel to customer locations to engage customers on potential projectsCollaborative work with internal teams, including Project Engineering, Automation and EngineeringAttend industry trade showsAttend quarterly sales meetings in Santa RosaOther special projects as they arise Required Education and Experience: Experience with B2B field sales of industrial equipment in a manufacturing environmentFood processing industry experience preferredAbility to sell complex systems as well as single machinesBachelor's degree in engineering, technical or business fieldGood negotiating and closing skills Understand customer project driversAbility to work with Salesforce CRM, Google applications, MS Office, other programs as required.Must have the appetite to understand complex systems and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Candidate must be able to provide evidence of authorization to work in the United States.
