The OWYN MAVERICK Program
The MAVERICK reports to the Director of Retail Activation and is on a hyper focused sales journey. MAVERICKS are best in class sales reps/merchandisers that have optimized and unique territory route structures that encompass accounts in several channels of trade (including but not limited to convenience/natural/independent). MAVERICKS are what we like to call the 'privileged' sales rep, as they are on a weekly organized and structured route schedule, unlike most of their peers. MAVERICKS create, service, and leverage new and consistent account relationships to maximize sales and market share.
Position Shift and ScheduleThis is a full time Monday through Friday position.
Position ResponsibilitiesEstablish, develop, and maintain positive business and consumer relationshipsEnhance the brand positioning and availability of OWYN in the designated territory assignedMerchandise and execute against 35 stores in your personal route driving brand volumeEducate store management on the differentiation of OWYN and build relationships with local distribution system to create a team based culture all the way from brand to distributor to store to consumerBuild out pop up customer demo experiences when possible in key accounts and venuesCreate full distribution for all OWYN authorized items in key accountsAnalyze weekly generated reports to track personal performance and meet territory goals
SkillsMerchandising experience in either the beverage or food industryExcellent selling, communication, and negotiation skillsAbility to work in extremely fast paced environmentsAbility to work independently as well as with a teamHighly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in salesAbility to execute against account strategiesExcellent selling, communication, and negotiation skillsGeneral proficiency in Microsoft OfficeOwning an iPad is preferred but not necessary as if you are an exceptional candidate one will be provided to you
Compensation: Based on relevant experience - negotiable post interview process
