Job Description

SUMMARY: Schedule, set up, maintain and operate audio-visual and multimedia equipment for Catering/Banquet Events. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the set-up, operation and breakdown of basic to high-end computer, audio, video, projection and lighting equipment for meetings, conferences and social events
Interact with external guests to meet and exceed their needs
Assists with room set-up of events and room design
Set up tradeshows, basic electrical needs

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
2-year technical or trade school degree in Audio/Video Production or related field; and 2 years audio / visual experience, including operational knowledge with video projectors, DVD, and soundboards or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid class "D" vehicle operator's license

Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
