Must be 21 + to work in this position SUMMARY: The Bellhop is responsible for taking luggage to and from guest rooms. Transporting Guests to and from destinations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Pushing and pulling luggage cart to and from guest rooms. Lifting luggage weighing up to 100 pounds. Walking majority of shift. Explaining to guest the features of the guest room and how it operates upon checking in. Performs related tasks as required. Must exhibit the Family Style Service model to all Guests and Team Members. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. 36 month clean MVR. Alcohol Awareness Card EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required. One to three months of related experience and/or training. Must be able to work with the public and present a clean, courteous image. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Ability read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. COMPUTER SKILLS None.
