The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Pool kitchen in conjunction with the Sous Chef. Position Responsibilities/Duties Lead team on assigned shift. Work with Sous Chef/Executive Chef on standards and plate presentation. Maintain integrity of each dish as per the Chef's specifications. Inform Sous Chef/Executive Chef of any morale issues, questions or concerns line level cooks may have. Resolve routine problems and keep management informed. Ensure line is prepped prior to service. Ensure product being used meets Clark County Health Standards. Maintain a clean area with in Clark County Health Standards. Working Conditions/Essential Functions This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of noise and temperatures. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively at all times, with various departments and all levels of management. Ability to solve routine problems. Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area. Must be able to review and comprehend all necessary documentation. Strong organizational skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Minimum Requirements Minimum three years' experience in the kitchen; previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively.
