Building Name: UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus Location Address: 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington Vermont Regular Department: Nutrition Room Svc and Diet Tech Full Time Standard Hours: 40 Shift: Day/Eve-8Hr Primary Shift: OTHER Weekend Needs: Every Other Salary Range: Min $23.50 Mid $29.39 Max $35.26 Recruiter: Janet Brown JOB DESCRIPTION: The Supervisor Nutrition Services directly supervises Food Service Workers, Line Chefs, Nutrition Care Representatives and Leads in the preparation and service of meals to The UVMMC patients, visitors and staff, and is responsible for ensuring that all food handling occurs in a safe manner in accordance with all applicable regulations. The Supervisor achieves cost, quality and regulatory objectives while meeting The UVMMC's strategic and operational objectives. EDUCATION: Associate's Degree in Food Service, 5 years' experience in food service, or a combination of education and experience in food service or healthcare. Completion of Food Protection Manager Certification Course. EXPERIENCE: Two years of supervision in an institutional or high-volume commercial food service establishment recommended.
