Reports to: Executive Steward
Supervises: No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Education and/or Experience
• High School diploma or GED.
Core Competencies and Expectations
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals.
• Work in compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and clubâ€'s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that kitchen and/or work area is kept clean and tidy.
• Report all accidents, illnesses or “near-miss†incidents immediately to manager on duty or supervisor.
• Attention to detail by making sure all pots and cook ware are thoroughly clean and work tasks are completed in full.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. • Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. • Continuous repetitive motions. • Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
