The Grill Cook in Portland, ME will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional food service experiences to the university community. Grill Cook Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of hot and cold food items with precision and creativity, adhering to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Operate grills, stoves, ovens, and other kitchen equipment to achieve desired cooking results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, practicing proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in replenishing supplies as necessary to meet customer demands.
Grill Cook Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of cooking techniques, temperatures, and flavor profiles.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a hygienic cooking environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning, cooking times, and presentation of food items.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.
Grill Cook Details:
- Schedules:
- Saturday & Sunday 7:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m (12/week)
- Pay Rate: $19/Hr.
- Start Date: ASAP
