Location: Ledges Restaurant, White Mountain Hotel & Resort, North Conway, NH
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Ledges Restaurant at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort is seeking experienced servers to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, guiding them through the dining experience, and ensuring a memorable visit.
Hourly rates vary and are based upon 2021 data. The average Server at Ledges can expect $20-30 per hour, with top performers making over $40 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and present them with menus
- Take and deliver orders accurately and efficiently
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Offer suggestions and recommendations to guests based on their preferences
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs and requests in a timely manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to any issues or concerns
- Accurately process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting and clearing tables
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
