The Alicart Restaurant Group, which for over 33 years, is the name behind the Legendary brands Carmine's NYC Family Style Italian Restaurant and Virgil's Real BBQ is in search for Director of Digital Marketing with a focus on directing digital marketing strategies of all our restaurants. The responsibilities will include leading the marketing efforts for the Carmine's and Virgil's brands nationwide. Working closely with the CEO in driving the company's digital marketing initiatives to increase the revenue sales. This position offers the candidate an amazing opportunity to work for a successfully established Restaurant Brand while joining a team of professionals who are progressive and results oriented.


Your Role with Us:


  • Oversee all aspects of strategic brand marketing, digital, social media, display advertising campaigns, content creation, email, brand identity and public relations for individual restaurants from our Midtown Manhattan office, which is easily accessible from all major subways and buses.
  • Lead digital marketing strategy, engagement, and growth of all digital platforms, email marketing, loyalty, reviews, CRM, and social media, including but not limited to Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Open Table as well as new/emerging platforms to grow digital traffic and sales.
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure marketing initiatives support business needs. Analyze company goals and research target audiences to come up with detailed marketing plans and schedules for campaigns (in-house/digital); delegate tasks for these campaigns to the Restaurant Operations team at each location and overseeing the campaign's performance while ensuring it stays on track with the scheduled lay out.
  • Lead community engagement and involvement efforts for individual restaurants.
  • Manage Public Relations, facilitate media events and partnerships, house all press materials and quarterback press related inquiries.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing campaign launch plans for all restaurants and maintain the yearly brand calendar.
  • Assist sales & catering events teams to promote restaurants and activities to client base to attract new business and increase revenues.

We Are Looking for Candidates:


  • 4-6 years of experience in Marketing in Restaurant Hospitality.
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications highly desired.
  • Experience with supervising others.
  • Experience with Adobe Platforms- Photoshop, InDesign, Personica, Illustrator Ads Library
  • Experience with Social Media Analytics: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
  • Experience with E-mail marketing platforms.
  • Must be a great writer and communicator.
  • Experience with marketing plans for tourist destinations and/or large cities and have leveraged seasonal holidays to drive new and repeat business. Hotels and Casinos environment experience
  • Online (Facebook, Paid Search, SEO) and offline (print, out of home) marketing and media planning and execution.
  • Have generated Public Relations for an established brand.
  • 3rd party agency management experience.
