As a national sport organization, Canada Snowboard is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The board helps to shape and direct the current practices and future development of competitive snowboarding in Canada by setting the overall strategic priorities and strategy.
To best support the Canada Snowboard and its Board of Directors in its current direction, candidates who possess skills in strategic planning; governance; financial performance, investment acumen, legal, sponsorship acquisition; fundraising; and diversity, equity and inclusion and information technology are highly encouraged to apply.
There are currently three(3) positions available for election. These three (3) positions will join the six (6) existingdirectors and one (1) athletes' council representativeto form the ten(10) elected directors. These three candidates will be elected for a mandate of three (3) years and will be elected by the Canada Snowboard membership as per the CanadianSnowboard Federation (CS) general bylaws Please see section these four officer positions and their associated responsibilities.
