Job Description


Reporting directly to the VP of Food & Beverage

Overseeing two extremely popular seasonal outdoor restaurants on boats

Managing the daily operations of the restaurant including recruiting, hiring, training and supervising employees, with a particular focus on managers

Ensuring that employees have the tools they need to do their jobs, Day-to-day control of projects, overseeing and facilitating project work across a variety of teams

Create and enforce company protocols and standards of food and service for staff

Sets the standard of the company and the restaurants through example

Able to train and motivate staff to achieve the highest levels of customer service

Assist in the execution of forecasting and budgeting

Planning to ensure that appropriate budgeted staffing levels (management and hourly) of the restaurants are achieved and maintained

Responsible for all controllable costs including labor, food, beverage, and supplies

Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members

Must proactively seek out potential problems before they arise

Enforce and maintain all labor laws and practices

Oversee and participate in the recruiting and hiring of high-quality employees, both salaried & hourly


4 years of experience with a multi-concept restaurant group

Innovative and change-driven with a high sense of urgency

Seasoned coach, manager and mentor

Industry knowledge

Understanding of finance/accounting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; solutions-oriented mindset

Exceptional time management and proven sales ability while maintaining a positive, client-focused manner

Strong leadership, analytical, and supervisory skills

Extremely organized and detailed-oriented

Ability to effectively interact with others and work independently

Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of the organization

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
