The responsibilities of our Cook:

Prepare assigned station for shift.
Under direction of lead cook, prepare individual components of various entrees and food items, adhering to the individual dietary restrictions of residents.
Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary food handling. Ensures compliance of King County and DSHS regulations.
Other duties as assigned

The requirements for our Cook:

Minimum 1-2 years as a cook/lead cook
Ability to prepare high quality food for our residents, Able to work Holidays and pre-planned events.
Maintain professional relationships with food and equipment venders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
Able to prepare therapeutic/modified diets.
Successful completion of recognized food safety course.
