Stars Rooftop & Grill Room is looking for a few polished front of the house members to join our team under the direction of our veteran Food and Beverage Director Taylor Jacobs and our new Executive Chef Tony Pope a Johnson & Wales graduate and alum of such notable restaurants as Bayona, Hank's Seafood, and the world-renowned Greenbrier Hotel.

This is a great opportunity for those that are passionate about hospitality. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to be a part of our emerging culinary transformation. Top candidates are creative individuals with a passion for great food and excellent service. Hourly wage increases as your experience increases. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

The Host/Hostess's responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. ... Ultimately, you'll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests.

The Food Expeditor is responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the servers while ensuring every plate is properly prepared and ready for the guests to enjoy. Excellent communication skills and experience in a restaurant's hectic setting are a must. The expeditor will be in constant motion and will be required to have the skills to coordinate and organize processes and people.

Competencies and Experience:
- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the servers to the kitchen
- Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
- Assist in the final preparation of dishes
- Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
- Deliver orders to maintain fast service
- Transfer important information between the kitchen and wait staff
