Kitchen Assistant Job Summary

Our Kosher kitchen is in search of an experienced kitchen assistant to help oversee daily operations. In this role, you will assist the Chef with the kitchen oversite in its entirety as well as back-of-house staff. As part of your responsibilities, you help with banquet prep, dishwashing, inventory as well as the inspection of kitchen to ensure that everything is organized and sanitized appropriately.

• Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on their feet

Kitchen Assistant Requirements

• Kosher food knowledge a plus
• Culinary training a plus
• Efficient in basic administrative skills
• Proven experience assisting in kitchens.
• A current Nebraska food handler's certificate.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work in a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.

We are looking for an individual to work Wednesday through Su nday for a minimum of 25 hours. Very competitive hourly wage for the right candidate.
