The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring accuracy when receiving, shipping and recording all movements of inventory and materials to and from Fresh Start Foods - Western Canada's facilities.
Shifts Available
Day Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours of Operation: Sunday to Friday, Must be able to work on Sundays and Holidays as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Frequently operate forklift, pallet jack, handjack and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
Lift boxes up to 50lbs onto pallets or machines.
Coordinate with Production Lead Hands on transferring raw materials from warehouse to production.
Must be able to fill traceability and report RM quality
Remove waste from the production area as required.
Work with team members to ensure an efficient production flow.
Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned warehouse and production area.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Forklift certification (Battery and Propane) is an asset (Training can be provided).
Previous Warehouse experience in the Food Industry is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold and wet environment.
Ability to frequently lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending/stopping. Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance.
Self Motivated and have the desire to continuously improve.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Culturally adaptable to work in a diverse workforce.
Ability to speak and read basic English.
Strong attention to detail.
Accountable and dependable.
