This position is a hybrid work schedule, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days remote

Your Impact:

Help implement enterprise data product vision and communicate effectively to key partners and be part of a team designing and coding the future technologies and applications that support Freddie Mac's mission of making home possible.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and deliver ETL components, as specified in the design, functional and non-functional requirements, within established budget, time and quality standards. Provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated application related problems, proactively and as issues surface. Identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance. Perform code version control activities via GitHub. Autosys or another job scheduler.

Qualifications:
5+ years of ETL tool experience using IBM Information Server (DataStage) 11.5/9.1/8.x/7.x.
Experience in writing technical specification documents, translating user requirements to technical specifications.
Experience in designing and developing jobs using Data Stage Designer.
Experience in importing/exporting DataStage jobs using DataStageManager7.x and using IBM Information Server (DataStage) 11.5/9.1/8.5/8.0.1 Designer
Experience with Pl/SQL concepts like Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, and Triggers.
Experience in using highly scalable parallel processing Infrastructure using DataStage Enterprise Edition (PX).
Strong understanding of the Data Warehousing Techniques and Star/Snow flake models.
Proficient in working with ETL processes across Oracle, Access, SQL Server, and DB2 Databases.
Strong experience with Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling techniques, proficiency in design and implementation of Star and Snowflake schemas.
Extensive experience working with Data Marts and Data Warehouses.
Strong experience working with DataStage plug-in stages
Excellent knowledge of studying the data dependencies using Metadata of Data Stage and preparing job sequences for the existing jobs to facilitate scheduling of multiple jobs.
Experience with DataStage job scheduling process using the Autosys, Control-M tools and DataStage scheduler.
Strong experience in writing UNIX shell scripts for Data validations, Data cleansing, DataStage job executions etc.
