Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):

Operate washing, drying equipment
Operate iron and towel folder
Set proper drying and cooling times for linen specifics
Perform and maintain inventories of linens as required
Organize and stock linen storage
Monitor information on all laundry equipment
Report all issues to supervisor/management
Perform related duties assigned each day
Participate in monthly inventories
Folding, ironing, pressing linen
Assist with chute duties
Operate air compressor to blow clean equipment
Develop and maintain positive working relationship with others
Support laundry team to reach common goals
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
Working knowledge of laundry chemicals and formulas
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and organize work load
Ability to work a varied schedule, to include early morning, afternoon, evening, night and weekend shifts


High school education or equivalent

Typical Physical / Mental Demands:

Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
Pushing or pulling a fully loaded cart weighing twenty-five (25) to thirty (30) pounds
Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals
Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality
