Aesthetician job summary
Our day spa focuses on creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for all our guests. We need an Aesthetician to provide our customers with 55-minute to 85-minute facials, depending on the service. To excel in this position, you should be self-motivated and highly customer service-oriented. You'll be responsible for selling products as well as providing services. If you have worked in a day spa environment before or if you are a frequent customer of spas, you'll fit right in, so please submit your application.
Aesthetician responsibilities and duties
- Greet customers upon arrival and guide them through our list of products and services
- Perform facials and other skin care services based on the packages our customers choose
- Upsell lotions, creams and other skin care products
- Invite customers to return and offer coupons and other perks to incentivise our clientele
- Participate in continuing education programs and staff meetings
- Provide skin care consultations for customers with troublesome skin or problem areas
Aesthetician qualifications and skills
- School leaver's certificate required
- Aesthetician state license required
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
- Proficiency with skincare product application (Dermalogica)
- Ability to sell products to our clients based on the products you use while rendering services
- Experience with waxing highly desirable
