RESPONSIBILITIES: The team member in this position may be required to work in one or more of the following capacities: Preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests; Receiving, handling and rotation of goods and inventory; Guest relations/customer service. During service, team member may be required to restock and clean buffet lines and service area, as well as attending to guests needs and questions; Equipment care, routine and daily cleaning duties as assigned; Team member in this position may also be required to work the cash register. The cashiers specifically, will be required to operate point of sale system and guest checkout, currency handling, cash balancing, change requisitions, daily sales reports. Team member in this position may also be required to perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: Education/Experience: Preferred candidates will be able to prove a minimum of 12 months of professional work experience in a foodservice or hospitality role; and/or currently enrolled in, or a graduate of a culinary, hospitality, foodservice or related field of study in a continuing education institution Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50lbs, bend, twist, stoop and reach frequently for the duration of shift, as well as walk or stand for 8 hours on hard surfaces; Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work for the duration of shift; Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time, while performing job functions; Ability to work safely and unrestricted with ware-washing and kitchen equipment Special Skills: Good verbal/written communication skills needed to read, comprehend, and execute standard kitchen recipes; Basic math skills, basic understanding of measurements & currency; Strong time management and organizational skills; Knowledge of basic culinary and kitchen terminology and Servesafe or food handlers certification is preferred, but NOT required.
