Looking for an experienced chef or line cook for our seafood market kitchen! Great hours, out by 6:45PM every day, no late nights! Must be willing and able to work independently and cross train as a fish monger. Heavy fry station, oven, and expo.
The right candidate will have a passion for seafood, and exceptional customer service. We are a well established seafood company in Boston, working with the absolute highest quality local fish/shellfish. All Chefs and line cooks interested in learning more about seafood should apply. Fish mongers looking to sharpen their culinary skills should apply.
4 years culinary experience as a chef, line cook or fish monger
Must have experience cooking seafood
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment and as part of a team
Must be personable and provide excellent customer service - it's an open kitchen concept
Must be available to work 9:30AM-6:30PM, three to four days per week. Approximately 9 hour shifts
Execute recipes precisely
Maintain high standards of quality and freshness
Prepare recipes to order using fryer, ovens, griddle, and induction burners
Weigh, wrap, and sell fresh seafood using POSI Touch
Meet strict standards of cleanliness and organization
Availability during week and one weekends
