The Catering Attendant is an integral part of the catering team, who is responsible for multiple food deliveries and set ups.

Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

Prep for functions, assembling of dessert and some food platters, and delivery and cleanup of all functions

Interact frequently with customers and clients

Safety and sanitation are a major priority

Catering experience and a good eye for presentation

Education and Experience:

Possess basic math skills

Have good manual dexterity

Be able to deal tactfully and pleasantly with customers

Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance

Follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner

Be able to interact in a friendly, cooperative manner with team members, customers and client personnel.

Be dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality) with no restrictions.

Work Environment:

Designated locations as deemed necessary by catering events.

Transporting food product and materials and loading/unloading the catering vehicles in all weather conditions.

Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items, ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam and other at risk conditions.

Involves repetitive motion.

Frequent lifting, pushing, and carrying.

Requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
