Overview
Under the supervision of the Camp Director, perform various duties relating to providing hospitality & housekeeping services for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
+ Complete work assignments as directed by Divisional Youth Secretary. Assignments may include, but will not be limited to:
+ Maintain the canteen, operate sales of items to participants.
+ Keep inventory and arrange purchase of snack items for sale as needed.
+ Maintain the staff lounge, prepare snack every evening for staff to be served at 8pm.
+ Clean and disinfect various program areas as per the facility's/ program covid protocols.
+ Distribute food to staff and participants for lunch and dinner.
+ Organize and keep non assigned activity areas in a orderly fashion and disinfect according to the facility's/ program covid protocols.
+ Maintain grounds to reduce risk of danger or injury to persons using grounds and facilities.
+ Refill water stations for campers and order inventory needed to keep up with the water station.
+ Monitor hand washing stations supplies and order or replace items needed for them as necessary.
+ Be part of Jesus Theater.
+ Assist in the leading of Rainy-Day Rotations.
Qualifications
+ College student or at least 18 years of age
+ Valid driver's license, approval to drive Salvation Army vehicles
+ Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Self-motivated, responsible an independent worker, and organized
