POSITION SUMMARY

The Janitorial Cleaning Crew is responsible for thorough and superior cleanliness and organization of the entire facility, with additional attention to high traffic areas, for example (but not limited to) restrooms, locker rooms, and lobby. The position's objective is to maintain the entire venue with a spotless appearance which is achieved through consistent, safe, detailed, and systematic cleaning practices.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communicate with all visitors and members according to our Customer Service Standards.

Assist members by guiding them through our programs and answering their questions.

Must be capable of handling customer service issues thoughtfully and quickly.

Be knowledgeable about our offerings, competitive programs, and pricing.

Responsible for tracking and purchasing janitorial product inventory.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Follow Standards of Excellence.

Practice good communication skills and follow directions.

Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Janitorial Operations

Keep the studio clean, sanitized, and organized.

Report any issues to management.

Complete any additional tasks required to help the company meet its goals.

Follow the laundry and cleaning checklist and procedures.

Follow up and complete all checklists.

Perform routine studio maintenance.

Clean floors, vacuum, and mop.

Maintain and clean restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas.

Spot cleaning walls, mirrors, and windows.

Empty trash and recycling.

Test equipment and re-rack equipment.

Stock all cleaning and janitorial supplies.

Maintain and care for janitorial equipment.

Disinfect equipment and facility.

Point out any maintenance issues to the facilities managers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous work experience in a comparable setting preferred but not required.

Possess superior customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor, ability to multitask while remaining calm to deliver exceptional results in a high-paced environment.

Ability to demonstrate positive interactive skills, sound judgment, logical decision making, and manage time effectively with minimum supervision.

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without assistance.

Able to move, setup/breakdown, transport objects such as furniture, tables, chairs, equipment, product, supplies, etc.

Capable to climb, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, and stand for the duration of shift. Require manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.

Work area may be unusually hot, humid, noisy. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. access. Tasks are performed from a non-sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage.
