The Day Porterstrategically supports the client's organizational goals through the day-to-day facility operations. This full-time role is essential and requires onsite presence in San Francisco. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:30pm to 9:00pm. Vaccination protocols are required.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities.
Host/greet guests and ensure an overall positive employee workplace experience
Manage kitchenettes throughout the facility and additional nearby local sites.
Coordinate with janitorial and other contractors/vendors as needed.
Event support, coordinating, and general concierge support
Amenity support (meetings, events, team-building exercises) as needed
Coffee/kitchen stocking support
Space/seating management support
Reception functions (greeting visitors, answering phones, badging, etc.)
Submitting work orders for repairs as needed
General (other) office-related support
Overseeing daily facility checklist
Ability to assume responsibilities from various stakeholders to enhance operation efficacies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ordering of consumables and office supplies as needed
Collaborate to maintain facility hygiene and a safe working environment
Key Characteristics.
Office, hospitality, or facility experience is highly desirable
Minimum education level: GED or equivalent
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds, repeatedly
Should possess strong attention to detail with critical analytical skills
Should be resourceful and possess good organization skills
Should possess the ability to independently solve problems and troubleshoot while performing work
Must be proactive and able to self-initiate
Should possess effective communication skills
Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities
Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, and climb at times.
