JOB TITLE: Laundry Attendant

REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper

Solitude is in search of an attentive laundry attendant who loves the resort environment and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service and their ability to pay close attention to detail. As an ideal candidate, you should be able to work independently and ensure that laundry is processed and room attendants have the proper tools in place to clean/turn guest rooms- closets stocked and organized, inventories up to par and rooms are stripped immediately following departures. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work mornings and evenings
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- The ability to work independently, without supervision
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize and address issues accordingly
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Process all guest room linen and terry, folding items then stocking closets
- Process all pool towels for different locations
- Stock housekeeping closets with all room supplies, toiletries etc.
- Ensure the laundry room is clean and organized
- Empty trash containers throughout building as needed
- Assist with stripping vacant rooms immediately following departures
- Remove dirty linens and trash from housekeeping closets
- Complete inventory upon request for guest room supplies as well as housekeeping/laundry cleaning supplies and chemicals
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed
