Job Description

Marketing Technology Reporting into the Head of Marketing Web Properties, the Head of TIAA Marketing Web Management will be responsible for the strategy, vision and client experience across all of TIAA marketing web properties. S/he is a modern marketer, data-led and customer-focused, who is passionate about building customer experiences that deliver value and outcomes. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that the TIAA marketing strategy and brand is reflected across the TIAA marketing web platform experience, and will lead the development of a best-in-class web experience to achieve the objective of transforming this channel into a strategic asset for lead generation and engagement with prospects and clients. Key Responsibilities and Duties Drive the vision, strategic development, deployment, and support of the websites, applications and integrated marketing initiatives, including IA, content strategy, brand integration, audience and KPIs. Recommend opportunities to simplify client experience across all digital platforms, enabling greater cross-sell capabilities across multiple investment teams. Develop a deep understanding of the current TIAA digital framework and create a strategic roadmap by working with client and product marketing, and brand partners with the goal of supporting their GTM strategies, optimizing business outcomes, and providing superior customer experience for our world-wide customer segments. Oversee the entire digital cross-platform lifecycle and agile process, from ideation to distribution for multiple product management processes, including scoping, prioritization, and road mapping based on business and customer impact and other key product initiatives. Deliver and continuously improve superior customer experiences across all digital platforms for our key customer segments. Determines metrics to measure progress and to advance team performance and product success. Exhibits a deep understanding of the customers' needs and reinforces a user-centric approach to team members and partners. Regularly and systematically use analytics and client feedback to uncover opportunities, track and optimize KPIs, and drive decision making. Understand and champion usage of the full suite of martech tools, leading strategic implementation, growth and optimization (personalization, testing, tagging, CDP, CRM and marketing automation). Run this channel flawlessly, and continuously improve outcomes YOY, providing right level of oversight to identify, manage and mitigate risks and gaps Develop / maintain process for intake and property management Monitors backlogs, optimizes existing processes, defines new ones, and encourages best practices Oversee report out on team successes / lessons learned with data and insights on regular cadence Constantly collaborates with other departments to build trust and understanding Optimizes team performance, balances staff assignments, and enhances processes Participates in the development and updating of annual budget plans to ensure appropriate allocation of resources Ensures adherence to all standards: accessibility, legal and compliance, privacy and consent, etc. Partner with technology and digital organizations to ensure alignment and support on development efforts, in addition to uncovering opportunities to introduce content within secure properties Collaborate with Nuveen leads to identify areas of opportunity to share best practices and align across the enterprise Leadership Responsibilities Hires, develops, and evaluates team members Manages, mentors, and motivates junior members of one's group Conducts performance reviews, reports on performance metrics, and creates plans to improve performance Collaborate with, influence and motivate cross functional teams and agencies including design, UX and QA to deliver successful digital outcomes. Work alongside analytical team partners, ensure the success measurement plan is executed and that outcomes are communicated to the various stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Five plus years of experience in a product development/management role within a digital setting Five plus years of extensive experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, developers, business partners, and compliance to successfully deliver results in a dynamic and complex environment Five plus years of experience with digital projects, from design strategy through execution Five plus years of strong knowledge of usability and customer experience principles and techniques for mobile and web information architecture and design Five plus years of experience with AEM Content Management System Five plus years of excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with a proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior management Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field Financial Services experience strongly preferred Outstanding ability to think creatively Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, user interviews, contextual inquiry) is a strong plus Experience in a highly agile/scrum environment Experience with Web Analytics tools, knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, and a well-established understanding of mobile usability Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail Motivated self-starter who is able to work independently Team player with solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment Experience working in a global, cross-functional team is a plus Potential Salary: $183,750.00 USD Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
