Job Description
Luxury Beach Resort with 5 Stars and 5 Diamond is in need of a "Experienced" Banquet Chef with similar background. Property generates over $30 million in Banquets, Buffets, Action Stations,
Breakfast, Lunch and sit down dinner for $1,800 Guests, very intense and will supervise over 125 staff
members. Salary $125k, bonus and relocation.
This is a very busy Historic Resort with over 1500 Rooms and another 450 Club members
Looks for someone that has been a Bqt Chef for at least 5 years at Hight Volume Resorts.

POSITION IS LOCATED IN FLORIDA
Responsibilities
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
Approve and "polish" dishes before they reach the customer
Remedy any problems or defects
Estimate staff's workload and compensations
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-oworkers
Requirements
Proven Experience as a Executive Banquet Chef
Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
Credentials in health and safety training
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
