A DAY IN THE LIFE AT JUSTIN:

* The Commis primary role is to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in the kitchen & executing the cheese & deli program and production downtown
* Assist with daily kitchen prep work and station set-up prior to service and maintaining the highest quality food preparation standards
* Duties associated with this role: preparing, cooking, and presenting culinary dishes; maintaining strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen; communicating with supervisor for support to trouble shoot problems
* Ability to organize and manage preparation of mis en place and production related to thekitchen and their station
* Ability to work efficiently on multiple tasks at a time
* Ability to complete fundamental cooking tasks, read and follow cooking directions/ recipes. Prepares TRM cheese plates
* Supports the Restaurant with prep & execution of Events, Lunch/dinner when needed
* Supports production for JUSTIN culinary program (jams, pickles, crackers other food items made in bulk).
* Manages mis en place and communicates with supervisor to procure necessary products
* Support washing dishes/ equipment as needed
