Job Description

KITCHEN SALES MANAGER FOR MADEVAL

MADEVAL HOUSTON is growing and is seeking to hire a Kitchen Sale Manager and Designer that is passionate about the Kitchen and Bath Industry. The Kitchen Sales position works closely with the our International Sale Director, General Manager, design, and technical team. The role will be primarily involved in driving sales and client product education and networking. The Kitchen Sale Manager will also be responsible for reaching the Team sales targets for the month. Work is office based and includes travel to meet potential clients.

Sales related task

  • Expand and coordinate the company leads
  • Coordinate with the design team potential project closings
  • Connect and Network the design and building community to introduce the Madeval Product
  • Organize a sale agenda for the team
  • Cold calls and weekly routings to potential new construction projects
  • Set up monthly lunch and learns at our showroom with new clients
  • Organized and update the team Progress diagrams Weekly
  • Update our General Manager weekly on new plans and potential closings.
  • Problem solve issues that arise from the job sites with the Project manager in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide expert support to our client throughout the purchasing process; design consultation, planning and quotation, installation, and completion
  • Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom to ensure they leave the store with a good impression
  • In conjunction with the Project Manager and Technical Designer, arrange site surveys and installation with our fitting teams. Ensure survey reports are actioned accordingly.
  • Communicate amendments to clients.
  • Provide a clear Client Journey Expectations to the Client.

Design related tasks

  • Establish the customers brief and create designs in accordance with the company's design standards
  • Build a rapport with Clients and deal with them in a friendly and professional manner
  • Trouble shoot with Technical Designer potential Design Issues.
  • Research and specify appliances for designs and provide the necessary information and documents for specific jobs to Technical Designer.
  • Coordinate with Manager about new Potential Client Lead and Monthly Sale Goals.
  • Site Measurements
  • Review Shop Drawing from Technical Designer to make sure they meet the project's needs.
  • Assist in any other showroom tasks and activities that may be required in the interest of the business, i.e. produce customer information packs, installation manuals, dealing with customer service, update supplier database, etc

2. Other

  • Have a clean organized desk and schedule
  • Keep up to date with trends in design
  • Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom to ensure they leave the store with a good impression
  • Contribute to the development of the company with new ideas and suggestions

3. Qualifications needed

  • Attention to detail
  • Thorough and accuracy
  • Experience from the kitchen industry or sales driven job role. 4 year minimum
  • Transportation to Job Sites
  • Knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Fluent in English and better if knows Spanish

5. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications

32k-75k plus commission and bonuses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
