The Global Online Team is seeking a Production Operations Holiday Captain with a passion for communication, process, and solutions. Primary role will be responsible for leading change management initiatives within a processed framework focused on consistency and standardization while embracing change in an iterative, ever-evolving organization. The right candidate has strong project management background for delivery on e-commerce sites, technical experience, excellent communicator and possess a keen mind for optimizing processes and workflow. This role will require the candidate to great facilitator, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage up and work with various types of stakeholders, including leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Year Round:
  • Serve as primary contact for several cross-functional teams (Business, Executive Leadership, Customer Service, etc.)
  • Develop and send Digital Experience Team Communications including but not limited to: Holiday Risk Governance Period, Tool Maintenance/Enhancements , Load Testing, Site Escalations, etc.
  • Reviewing code release requests, mitigate risk, ensuring thorough rollback plans
  • Develop training, new processes, and communication to increase adoption of process
  • Authorize minor change requests and coordinate with Leadership Team for changes presenting higher risk
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on Peak Holiday time periods, site performance, change requests, etc.
  • Oversee business-facing reports and follow up on action items
  • Maintenance and development of Holiday Playbook in Confluence for Brand and Affiliate stakeholders
  • Assist building PowerPoints, documentation, and training materials
  • Maintenance of distribution lists for Business reporting and communication
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop, test and support flash event logistics
  • Build best practice documents and cascade to appropriate teams
  • Gather important tax, price adjustments, legal updates, and other annual changes from teams and lead adoption process
  • Lead Ad-Hoc Initiatives and Executive Requests
  • Key contact for all primary stakeholders and content manager of Online digital library in Confluence
During Peak Holiday (in Addition To The Above)
  • Ensuring the entire Holiday Risk Governance Period goes smoothly while continuously improving the code release process
  • Ensure all processes, dependencies, and tasks are completed in a timely manner to remove blockers and mitigate risk during highest revenue period
  • Assist with the creation of Holiday Planning Presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Host Kickoff Meetings with each team and send detailed recaps
  • Host Daily standup with key global and regional stakeholders and send detailed recaps
  • Host Weekly exception requests review meetings with VPs and send detailed recaps
  • Plan and host Office Hours
  • Plan and host Post Mortem meetings with each team and send detailed recap
  • Update and help manage Global Escalation Process during Holiday and serve as On Call support if/when needed
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Must be proactive and use diplomacy when handling conflicts
  • Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Highly driven, flexible & adaptable to a fast-paced & changing environment. Commitment to teamwork and partnerships with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Highly collaborative with good conflict resolutions skills
  • Ability to work directly with technical and business teams
  • Ability to understand complex challenges & linkages and articulate into plans to drive results
  • General understanding of software development lifecycles and have experience with Agile delivery
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and a proven ability to work and lead in a team based environmen
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience - ideally in eCommerce industry
  • Change Management Certification or relevant degree is a plus
  • Agile Delivery, PMP, CSM, SSM or PSM certification plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with high proficiency in Excel modeling and scenario analysis
  • Experience in Project Management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or other Workflow tools a plus
  • BI Tool, Sumologic, GA, Oracle is a plus
