Catering & Event Sales Manager
Excellent Compensation: Base Salary and Great Commission Structure

Sale Manager Reports to: Director of Catering

Our events team at MIST Catering & Events has the desire to go above and beyond for every guest and client always vigilant ensuring every guest/client feels cared for. We are committed to unparalleled guest/client service MIST is a full service venue from the moment we meet new potential clients to the time a client signs their contract and throughout their entire event from the beginning to the end we insure excellence in caring hospitality.

Essential Functions

  • To maintain the warmest and sincere level of hospitably ensuring every guest/client feels cared for .
  • To elevate all aspects of the operation to the highest quality levels possible.
  • Lead and direct events and functions
  • Build strong and productive relationships in the business and social communities
  • Maintain a positive, inspiring working environment
  • 100% compliance of all company standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and execute effective monthly and weekly sales plans
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintain existing relationships, foster new relationships/referrals and bring in new business

  • Create and send proposals and effectively follow-up to interested clients
  • Negotiate contracts, create invoices and follow-up with client billing
  • Develop relationships with outside vendors and negotiate rates for our clients
  • Conduct client walkthroughs of all internal and external venues and off-site event areas
  • Build client, venues and vendor databases. Maintain a database of prospective and current customers.
  • Maintain and organized process in sales and securing new clients
  • A full and complete understanding of the: competitive set menus and event pricing
  • Establish a positive working relationship with the entire team
  • Implement catering marketing plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop promotional events to market catering operations to individuals and organizations.
  • Explore new business opportunities with potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate and complete sales operational and transaction records.
  • Answer customer queries with accurate information within 24 hours
  • Develop strong customer relationships to widen customer base and marketing opportunities.

Basics Requirements and Experience:

  • 2 years of successful sales
  • 1-2 years of hospitality
  • Excellent clients and guest communications skills
  • Caring person
  • Team-player
  • Positive Attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
