We are currently looking for an Operations Research & Analytics Manager. A successful candidate will serve as an internal consultant to corporate functional teams and country Operations leaders on operational continuous improvement and innovation efforts

Position Purpose

1.Design, manage, and execute custom big data & analytics efforts to inform Global Operations Strategy, Innovation, & Consulting

2.Develop & manage standardized reports to support data driven Operations leadership

3.Optimize team processes, procedures, and tools to ensure speed to insight, quality of results, and scalability of analytics services.

This position sits within the Global Operations Strategy and Insights group working out of the Chicago West Loop headquarters and McDonalds Innovation Center in the southwest Suburbs of Chicago.

Focus areas could include: Management of Restaurant/Menu Complexity, Speed of Service Standards and measurement, Restaurant Capacity Planning, Restaurant Operational Performance Segmentation, Tools to support Restaurant/Organization performance diagnosis and consulting

The candidate will work cross functionally with teams representing Corporate Operations, Real Estate Development/Strategy, Restaurant Design, IT, Strategy, Digital, & Market Operations and Analytics.

The ideal candidate will be:

* Committed to deeply understanding the details of current restaurant operations
* Skilled at accessing, organizing & analyzing large, disparate data sets in large corporate data warehouse environments
* Skilled at telling stories with quantitative data to audiences at all levels
* Knowledgeable and skilled in Project Management, Operations, Insights & Analytics
* Equally comfortable leading external vendors to execute projects and rolling up his/her sleeves to manage data and perform analytics
* Self-starter who is comfortable working under tight timelines & competing demands

Principal Accountabilities

* Lead data modeling and analysis efforts to uncover new insights, guide strategic direction, and see opportunities for optimization
* Create and deliver reports and insights on key operations KPIs
* Build and maintain data models, dashboards and automation systems to support decision making
* Partner with internal Data Governance teams to ensure data integrity and completeness of Operations data
* Partner with Data Architecture teams to ensure analytics tools and environments are optimized and aligned to support functional goals
* Synthesize and interpret results of analytics for cross functional audiences
* Manage data analytic workload: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, timelines, etc.
* Champion data driven Operations decision making and support the development of analytics skills and methods with market partners
