Position Title: CATERING MANAGER

Job Description: The Catering Manager is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Verifies business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer/guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer/guest experience. Provides service to customers in order to grow the account on behalf of the company.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Catering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Targets group/catering accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation
• Partners with group/catering counterpart to effectively manage the business opportunity
• Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
• Develops effective group/catering sales plans and actions
• Participates in and practices daily service basics of the brand
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food beverage
• Other duties as assigned

Shift: FLEXIBLE

Day(s) Required: FULL TIME

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
• Full Time Management Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand/walk/step for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in hot/cold conditions at any given time
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds

Anticipated Start Date: Two (2) weeks from date of job offer
