[]() The primary responsibilities of the Parking Supervisor are to hire a service-oriented team, manage daily parking operations, and maintain auditing procedures for the Parking Department. The Supervisor is also responsible for all employee training, development, scheduling, time and labor, coaching, and performance-based reviews. Join our team for Winter Season 19/20, and enjoy perks such as a Free Epic Pass for yourself & your dependents, Retail, Hotel, and Restaurant discounts, free leadership & career development classes, Paid Time Off, and so much more! *Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:* * Assist guests in parking their cars. * Maintain parking lots, booths, and signage. * Organize parking pass sales procedure and implementation. * Communicate productively with resort, county, and community personnel. * Monitor department budget. * Lead routing parking policy audits. * Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees. * Monitor equipment, supplies, and parts inventories needed to support field activity; identify problems and recommend corrective action and changes as needed. * Conduct daily organizational meetings to discuss safety, any issues, event requests, special group requests, and other topics as necessary. * Lead weekly safety meetings and perform monthly facility inspections. * Demonstrate extraordinary guest service skills, and motivate staff to deliver the same during each guest interaction. * Maintain the base area by hand shoveling, ice chipping, light maintenance, etc. * Process payroll and exceptions. * Address guest complaints and issues promptly and appropriately. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent - required. * At least 2 years of parking/traffic management experience - preferred. * At least 1 year of supervisory experience - required. * Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record - required. * Microsoft Office Proficiency - required. * Mechanical skills and the ability to use hand tools - preferred. * Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions - required. * Ability to work weekends & holidays - required. * Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of guests - required. *Reach Your Peak at Vail Resorts. *As a community of adventurers and discoverers, Vail Resorts delivers an experience of a lifetime to our guests and our employees.
